"Parking can be a pain during the winter time , plow service is very little so, expect to shovel your own spot a lot. Augustine who is our maintenance personnel is awesome here and has been an amazing addition to their staff. I personally don’t like dogs being allowed to take residency. I have a dog down stairs that is constantly barking all night. Other than that, this has been the best place I’ve lived at so far."

"Weidner does not care about their residents! I have been asking for snow removal since December and they still have done nothing! They raise the rent and still nothing!! It has become dangerous for me to live here for fear of falling. I now have a lake behind my car and have to walk all the way around the building to get to my apartment. This is unacceptable! I do not plan to renew my lease because of this issue."

"In 2021, Elizabeth had the entire parking lots removed of cars to have snow removal. It’s very dangerous for my kids outside and myself I have a disability already (disabled veteran), Jacob also had the same things happen in 2022 by January and February of each years. Why aren’t y’all doing the same? These parking lots are dangerous for everyone. You never know what people suffer from disabilities and how unsafe it is. Each year a new manager comes it’s like they get lazier snd lazier."

"I have been here for years now ,management are always polite and kind. maintenance not so much or helpful i have had a leaking toilet and hot water heater for as long as i have lived here . we had sewage back up into our apartment from the complex and they never replaced the rug, just dried it. they must have lost money during 2020 because they have raised the rent each year now . and for a disabled person on a fixed income this is rough ."

"Don't waste your time or money here, property management is a joke, maintanence is rude and doesn't get the job done. They refuse to do lot & yard cleaning ever. They way over charge, lie about the utilities covered, and misinform about the costs of electric. Somehow I was paying $2400 a month for a 2 bedroom that they wouldn't even take care of. You can find better value in a cardboard box."

"When we moved in the dishwasher was not working. While it took a while to get someone to come fix (lot of work to do and not enough workers) the washer now runs as it should. Happy dance.??"

Overview

Come home to relaxed, elegant living at Terrace on the Lake Apartment Homes. Our apartments in Anchorage’s Spenard neighborhood are in a vibrant area near the Anchorage International Airport, Lake Spenard, and the Spenard Community Rec Center. Terrace on the Lake offers apartments with useful amenities in a warm and active community. It’s also pet-friendly, and has a courtesy patrol.

Pet Policy

Pets - Max 2 Allowed

Monthly Pet Rent: $40 per pet
Non-Refundable Pet Fee: $300 per household

Cats & Dogs are welcome! We do not have a pet deposit or weight limit. The following breed restrictions apply: Pit Bull & Pit Bull Mixes, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Wolf Hybrids, Doberman Pinscher, Saint Bernard, American Bulldog, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Great Dane, and Akita. Some other types of pets such as hamsters, birds, turtles, reptiles, and fish are allowed. Tropical fish must be limited to a 20-gallon tank. The max number allowed, one-time pet fee, and pet rent apply only for cats and dogs; the max number allowed, one-time pet fee, and pet rent do not apply for other types of pets. Our community is pet friendly, and certified service dogs are allowed. We consider requests for reasonable accommodations on a case-by-case basis after considering the nature of the request for accommodation to afford a person with a disability an equal opportunity to use and enjoy our community.
