Reviews

"I’m in a wheelchair, during winter it’s hard for me to get around and it would be nice if the parking lot is kept maintained. And at the bottom of the ramp to get out of the building there’s a big bump and it makes it very difficult to get in and out of the buildings parking lot. I would really appreciate if if it was fixed"

Gemma Choquette

"Very unprofessional and rude staff. They don't seem to care about the tenants here. Lots of mistakes, and they don't care to take responsibility to fix them. They lock tenants out of the office we are supposed to be able to use. I hope they don't target me more, after writing this review."

Jennie Schield

"upstairs people stump down hard on the floor witch is my ceiling, some time pass 10pm even 12am ."

Eduard Lopez

"Have to office staff is great especially Rose. Very caring and understandable. Also it a great community to live here."

Stephanie Lee

"Moved in 6 weeks ago! This place is excellent. Very quiet and very nice people Read some trash reviews before signing. All BS. Have loved it here since day 1!"

Patrick Johnston

"I'm suggesting that monthly bills are made available on the resident's portal before the 1st of the month. I made a payment of $1,244.00 on 05/24 for June's lease based on last month's billing. Later on 06/03 a letter out-ling charges for $24.04 on my door on 06/03 for additional charges along with a 10 days notice to quit. Is this the way Alpine communicate with good standing residents? A telephone call would and should suffice besides it's a far more cost effective and efficient way. I find the letter intimidating and excessive, going forward I trust that Alpine will modify it's communication with residents regarding outstanding amounts, especially given the fact that payments were made 7 days in advance. Thank you."

"As a resident living with a person with mobility challenges, my husband’s experience at Alpine has been far from satisfactory. The lack of accommodations for disabled individuals has been a constant source of frustration. The elevator, a crucial amenity for residents like my husband, has broken down a minimum of 2 times each month. This unreliability has made it difficult, and at times impossible, for disabled residents to navigate the building safely and efficiently. The management's repeated failures to address these elevator malfunctions and the snow in the winter by the ramp in a timely manner have not only inconvenienced residents but also posed serious safety risks. The lack of urgency and proper maintenance in ensuring the elevator's functionality is simply unacceptable, especially for a community that should prioritize accessibility for all residents. In conclusion, the recurring elevator breakdowns and the general lack of consideration for disabled residents at Alpine have made it clear that this is not a suitable living environment for individuals with mobility challenges. Prospective tenants with disabilities should be cautious in considering this complex as their home."

"Latasia, Elizabeth and Rose were very friendly, helpful and patient with me. I toured the unit with Latasia and I really like the space of the unit. Latasia answered all of my questions and I had a great move in experience with her."

Kris Stanley

"Parking 0 stars. Parking situation was crowded and it didn’t help that management doesn’t follow their own rules on towing cars if they haven’t moved in 7 days. I lived here for five months and there was a car that was clearly totaled just taking up a good parking spot. Noise 0 stars. Had people above me who partied from 3am till I left for work at 7:30 am. The security, management and the police couldn’t get these people stay quiet. Management said they would be gone soon but that never happened. Location was pretty rough including the people they let stay there. Two murders during the five months I lived there. Value 0 stars. Was paying more that $1500 a month for a one bed and bath with more problems than I care to list here. Don’t look for alpine to have your back. I was a first time renter and I feel like they took advantage of that for sure. I learned the hard way to read the fine print."

Peter Egrass

"I feel the cost for the value of this unit is way off. I’m paying too much for what I’m getting here."

"I wish I had been able to look at reviews before moving into this place. Common area (entrance) is dirty and smells horrible. My dining area is carpeted. Flies everywhere! If you have children with health problems, do not live here! Very unsanitary. I’ve nearly been attacked by a large dog at the elevator and the property manager basically laughed at me and said, “luckily it didn’t get you.”"

Rachel Konteh

"Lots of dog poop everywhere"

"I been here for sometime now and every year when it is time to renew lease the monthly rent goes up some, but everything else declines. From having less staff to tenants that don't have respect for their neighbors or where they live."

"Gotta give props to Cameron. He was super responsive, knowledgeable, and saved my kitchen from the sludge that came through my sink. This is my second emergency, and both times the maintenance team was totally on point: Sharp and professional, and friendly. I don't remember the first techs name, but I remember the excellent customer service. Stay safe, Blessings to your team!!."

"They came to inspect where a leak was coming from for downstairs apartment. The maintenance guy said the other guy was going to come back and caulk but the other guy came back but no caulking done. Why lie?"

Mildred Savok

"The folks who provide upkeep to building 5210 are doing an awesome job. From the young lady who vacuums and cleans windows to the maintenance crew who seem to work non stop trying to address the problems that comes with building maintenance. Thanks for your hard work"

David Gillespie

"By far the best value for cleanliness, safety, location and staff! I'm so impressed by the staff and the "little" things they offer. Classes, work out room etc....who knew ?????"

Rachael

"Mary has made the transition and move to Alpine Apartments from Deer Park Apartments very easy for me. She has completed all the necessary filings of paperwork for the transfer with AHFC, and this has made the move simpler. Being less complicated, it has allowed me to concentrate on moving expeditiously, without having to deal with the complexities of the administrative formalities regarding AHFC and my transfer. It has been a smooth transition. She has always been friendly, courteous, and professional in her personal conduct with me. She has made me feel welcome at Alpine Apartments. She has always been attentive regarding my wishes and needs for any of the necessary disability enhancements to my apartment, and has been obliging in expediting any of the necessary repairs and reconditions to my apartment. Altogether, the team is an asset to Alpine Apartment's and have been wonderful. Appreciatively, Melanie Wolff"

"I have only been here for about half a year and have requested two maintenance calls. The first one was for a blind I admittedly broke (which they fixed with no issue), while the second one involved a wasp who wandered through an open window (the maintenance person didn't even have to squash it!). I have lived in a fair number of complexes, but no maintenance team has ever shown up the same day I have made the request like the Alpine team has for both times. The maintenance team at Alpine is not only responsive and competent, but they are so kind and genuinely care too! Even the staff at Alpine helped connect me with someone to help with my screen-less windows issue, being very understanding every step of the way. Thank you again so much Alpine Team !! :-)"

Sharon

"Apartments need to be updated. However the staff is great"

Adrian

"Place is excellent, need a little work on people cleaning after their dog and people having dogs off leash. Especially when you have a dog of your own that you’re trying to train. It really doesn’t help, I guess there’s lack of monitoring those things. But overall the place is good"

"I dint understand why Alpine has a 2.5 star rating. The building I am in is a secure building and so far I have not had any issues with loud noise or anything. Maintenance is quick to do a work order and the office staff are polite and helpful when answering questions. The tenants I have met in the hallways or outside have been friendly. If you are not custom to round abouts you can go down lake Otis to Dowling to come into apartments on the right turn off the round about. If the back gate is open you can go down lake Otis and through Waldron street. I am happy I chose Alpine as a place to call home for a while."

"I have not had any problems during my stay with Alpine Apts. Whenever I had a maintenance problem, it was resolved within 1-2 business days. I had no heating problems, no appliance breakages, and no noisy neighbors. parking was always available at my unit building. Staff is friendly and walks through everything with you. The only reason I'm moving out is to be closer to family."

Matthew Bravo

"A nice, clean apartment that is surprisingly quiet. A good value for the price. I'm very happy here."
